Annikah Idovia Godard is a young artist based in Chicago, IL, and Portland, OR. In 2026, she will receive her Bachelor of Arts in Visual & Critical Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Idovia embraces her interdisciplinary practice by combining her affinity for painting with her research in critical theory, anthropology, and colonialism. Idovia is a writer for the journal F Newsmagazine, and her art has been featured in local and international exhibitions, including: Woman Made Gallery, Siragusa Gallery, Jackson Junge Gallery, VibrantCast Gallery, Gene Siskel Film Center, Cista Arts Gallery, and Fox Yard Studio.
