Leah Lafferty is a freshman at St Clair County Community College in Port Huron, MI, pursuing an associate degree of science. She plans to transfer to UC Davis to obtain a bachelor’s degree in animal science, then continue her education in their veterinary program to become a veterinary technician. Her art pieces are exclusively animal related, and she finds artistic inspiration in the natural world around her. When she isn’t painting, drawing, or practicing her pyrography, Leah enjoys raising her rabbits and pigs for her county’s 4-H program as well as powerlifting and shooting competition trap and skeet.
