Love Letters

You pressed the typewriter keys on my heart
Printing love letters onto my skin
What a delicate love we make
The muse to my machine
You fill me with ink and I can write again, fly again
Words pour from my mouth like a song
Landing on paper just slightly distorted
Fibers catching on the metaphors
Some lines are blurred while others crisp
I fold the paper into stars
Make a wish
And there you are
