An Autist’s Purview of Pleasurable Stimuli

Leonardo Gomez (he/him) is an artist from Dallas, TX. He predominantly works in the mediums of oil paint, charcoal, and ink. Largely a figurative artist with a focus on portraiture, he tackles themes of autism and isolation in his artwork, while linking his work with the larger neurodivergent community. He explores his autism and neurodivergence through portraits in oil. He is currently an undergraduate student at Albion College and will earn his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a painting concentration in 2026.
